Quick recap

After her divorce, Helen Grace trades Brooklyn for the Spiderwick estate in Henson, Michigan, with her kids. Jared meets the boggart Thimbletack and learns magical creatures are real. Great-Aunt Lucinda asks him to recover the pages of her father Arthur's guide and keep them from the ogre Mulgarath. The ogre poses as Jared's therapist, Dr. Brauer, with help from Calliope, a fetch. In the finale, the siblings and their friends summon a troll that seems to devour Mulgarath, but he comes back. Mulgarath takes Jared's form, and Mallory's sword sends the real Jared to the faerie realm, where he meets Arthur Spiderwick.
