Detective Jimmy Robertson is murdered, which leads to Diego Perra's arrest and reveals drug lord Humberto Zorillo gave the order. Frank Sheehan dies at a rally, and Bosch goes hunting for Michael "Frank" McShane. Late in the season, Detective Renée Ballard crosses his path. The Gallagher case is solved, McShane is killed in Mexico, and Bosch tells Maddie it's over. The finale hints that Bosch and Ballard could team up again.
