Quick recap

The season opens in 1948: Claire wakes up at Craigh na Dun and returns to Frank, pregnant. Then the story jumps back to 1744. In Paris, Claire and Jamie try to sabotage the money that would fund Charles Stuart's rising, between balls at Versailles and court intrigue. Jamie challenges Black Jack Randall to a duel, and Claire loses their daughter, Faith. Back in Scotland, they can't stop the war and march with the Jacobite army to Culloden. Before the battle, Jamie sends Claire back through the stones. In 1968, now a widow, she takes her daughter Brianna to Inverness, meets Roger Wakefield, watches Geillis go through the stones and learns that Jamie survived Culloden.
