Quick recap

The Baudelaires arrive in Paltryville to live with the owner of Lucky Smells Lumbermill, known only as Sir, and are put to work. Foreman Flacutono trips Klaus and breaks his glasses. At the optometrist, Dr. Georgina Orwell, Klaus gets hypnotized. Olaf is disguised as the receptionist, Shirley. Under hypnosis, Klaus causes an accident that injures the worker Phil, then nearly pushes Charles, Sir's partner, into the saw. Violet finds the word that breaks the trance, and Klaus saves Charles. Sunny fights Orwell, who backs into the saw in fright and dies. Shirley is Olaf, who escapes with Flacutono, the troupe's bald man. Sir sends the orphans to boarding school.
