Ciri, Queen Calanthe's granddaughter, flees when Nilfgaard takes Cintra and discovers a power that tears everything around her apart. At Sodden Hill, Yennefer unleashes a wave of fire on Nilfgaard and vanishes. Wounded, Geralt finally meets Ciri in the forest. She asks him who Yennefer is.
