Quick recap

Wounded, Ciri is found in a swamp by the old hermit Vysogota, who nurses her while she tells him about the past few months. Happy with the Rats, she learns Nilfgaard is presenting a "princess" with her name as the Emperor's bride. The bounty hunter Leo Bonhart, hired by Stefan Skellen, kills the Rats and captures Ciri. Instead of killing her, he makes her fight in an arena, which confirms who she is. Geralt's company travels with Meve's army in search of druids who might find Ciri, fights off bandits and reaches Toussaint. Ciri gets her powers back, escapes Skellen and faces him on a frozen lake. Vysogota dies. Ciri enters the legendary Tower of the Swallow, which carries her to another world.

  3. ChangeThe Rats get a movie

In the book, the Rats' past barely shows up. Netflix made a special just for them, The Rats: A Witcher Tale, built around a heist that isn't in Sapkowski.
