Yennefer gathers sorceresses at Montecalvo against Vilgefortz. In the siege, Vesemir and Margarita die and Istredd sacrifices himself to shut down the portals. Yennefer learns the Ciri in Nilfgaard is a fake, reunites with Geralt briefly and goes after Vilgefortz across the sea. In a battle at a bridge, Milva loses her baby and Queen Meve knights Geralt.
