Quick recap

Sasuke feels left behind and challenges Naruto on the hospital roof until Kakashi breaks it up. The Sound Four arrive with Orochimaru's offer: power in exchange for leaving the village. Sasuke slips out at night and leaves Sakura unconscious on a bench. Tsunade sends Shikamaru, now a chūnin, to lead Naruto, Neji, Choji, and Kiba on a retrieval mission. One by one they drop back to fight the Sound Four and Kimimaro; Rock Lee shows up, then Gaara of the Sand joins in, along with Kankuro and Temari. Naruto catches Sasuke at the Valley of the End. After a brutal Rasengan-versus-Chidori fight, Sasuke wins, spares Naruto, and heads to Orochimaru. Naruto wakes in the hospital and renews his promise to Sakura.
