Filler arc. Naruto, Sakura, and Jiraiya head to the Land of Rice Fields, home of the Sound Village, hunting for leads on Sasuke. They meet Sasame of the Fūma clan, who is looking for her cousin Arashi, recruited by Orochimaru. The group storms a trap-filled hideout, and Sakura faces a fake Kabuto who toys with her mind until Naruto arrives. Deep inside, the fake Orochimaru turns out to be Arashi, turned into a puppet. He comes to his senses and sacrifices himself to save the group as the place collapses. Sasuke isn't there. The Fūma clan vows to rebuild, and Sakura comes home set on getting stronger.
