Monarch: Legacy of Monsters

2017. Kong attacks the Apex station on Skull Island. Cate sends the vehicle back into Axis Mundi and gets Shaw out, but the energy surge wakes Titan X, a tentacled monster, along with a swarm of Scarabs. In 1957, Keiko, Shaw and Bill find the Titan worshipped by a cult in Chile. In the present, Apex steals Hiroshi's Titan lure and tests neural implants on the monster, which lashes out. Hiroshi dies saving Cate. She realizes she can hear Titan X's song and that it has laid an egg. Kentaro joins Isabel Simmons, who steals the egg. Godzilla chases the Titan, and Kong fights it on Skull Island until the egg is returned. Kentaro escapes with Isabel, and Shaw tracks them to Thailand, where he spots Rodan.

   The people of Santa Soledad, Chile, call Titan X Co-Cai. The name comes from Coi Coi-Vilu, the water serpent of Mapuche mythology.
