Quick recap

2015, a year after G-Day. Cate Randa goes to Tokyo to settle the affairs of her missing father, Hiroshi, and learns he had a second family and a son, Kentaro. His office holds files from their grandfather, Bill Randa. With May's help, the siblings find Lee Shaw, an old family friend held by Monarch, and run with him to Alaska and the Sahara. In the 1950s, young Shaw, Bill and Keiko Miura hunt Titans and build Monarch, until Keiko vanishes down a pit in Kazakhstan. In the present, Cate, May and Shaw fall into Axis Mundi and find Keiko, who hasn't aged. Godzilla helps them get out, but Shaw is left behind. They surface on Skull Island in 2017 as Kong closes in.
