Quick recap

Lisbeth is in a Gothenburg hospital, a few rooms from her father. The Section, a secret group inside Swedish security that has shielded Zalachenko, wants them both silenced. The aging Gullberg kills Zalachenko in the hospital, fails to reach Lisbeth and takes his own life. While Lisbeth awaits her murder trial, Mikael gathers evidence and readies a special issue of Millennium. In court, lawyer Annika Giannini takes apart psychiatrist Teleborian and plays the video of Bjurman raping Lisbeth. The Section falls, Teleborian is arrested and Lisbeth walks free. At the end she finds Niedermann in a warehouse, nails his feet to the floor and calls both the biker gang and the police. Lisbeth and Mikael make peace and go their separate ways.
