Quick recap

Four years ago, Bosch killed Norman Church, named as the Dollmaker, a murderer who painted his victims' faces with makeup. Church reached under his pillow, where there was only a toupee. Now the widow is suing Bosch, with attorney Honey Chandler. Mid-trial, a Dollmaker-style note leads to a new victim buried in concrete, and everyone wonders if Bosch shot the right man. He suspects a colleague, Detective Mora, and a professor. Chandler is murdered. In the end, Bosch identifies the copycat as reporter Joel Bremmer, records his confession and arrests him. Bremmer trades life without parole for the location of the other victims, and Sylvia comes back to Bosch.
