Quick recap

The season opens with the show's first feature-length story, Peril at End House: in Cornwall, young Nick Buckley has survived a string of accidents, and Poirot suspects someone wants her dead. Then come eight 50-minute short stories. A veiled lady wants help against a blackmailer, a Burmese mine hides a murder, a banker vanishes without a trace, a prime minister is kidnapped and a film star gets threats over a diamond, the Western Star. Hastings, Japp and Miss Lemon stay at Poirot's side, and each episode wraps its own case.
