Quick recap

Botanist Dr. Brewer loses his university job and starts running experiments locked in the basement. Margaret and Casey notice their dad has changed: he eats plant food, hides leaves under a cap, and bleeds green. When their mom goes away, they sneak downstairs and find giant plants. Then they find their real father tied up in a closet. The man walking around the house is a plant clone. Margaret cuts each man's hand to see who bleeds red, and the real dad chops the clone in half. A week later, a small flower in the garden whispers to Margaret that it is her real father.
