Quick recap

Evan is staying with a deaf, cranky great-aunt when he and new friend Andy buy an old can of Monster Blood at a toy store. The green goo glows and bounces, but soon it turns warm and starts to grow. His dog Trigger eats some and becomes huge. The mass swallows objects and even people. Behind it all is Sarabeth, a witch who cursed the goo. Trigger knocks her into the giant blob, and it shrinks down to a puddle. When Evan and Andy come back to collect what's left, the puddle has vanished without a trace.
