Benjamin Férel

Benjamin and Assane met at boarding school as kids and left it inseparable. As an adult, Benjamin keeps a quiet life out of the spotlight, and he's the first person Assane turns to when he decides to steal the necklace at the Louvre.

While Assane improvises, Benjamin plans. He handles the logistics, the money and the details nobody sees, and he sweats every risk his friend takes.

With Assane wanted by the police, Benjamin becomes a key player. The two set a trap for Juliette Pellegrini, Hubert's daughter, and Benjamin has to hold up his end without his friend around to bail him out. That's where he shows he's learned more than it seemed.

A year after Assane's escape, Benjamin is still by his side, even with his friend wanted and, as far as the world knows, dead. Friendship costs him: during a jewel job at the Château de Thoiry, Benjamin is the one who gets arrested, and Assane has to handle the rest without his usual partner.
