Quick recap

A year later, Assane is hiding out in Marseille and planning a way back to Claire and Raoul. A black pearl heist at Place Vendôme goes wrong during the getaway, and he uses the fall to fake his death, slipping out of his own funeral. Then his mother, Mariama, calls: she's been kidnapped. The kidnappers lead to Keller, an old face from Assane's days as a young thief. Benjamin is arrested during a jewel job, Guédira leaks evidence to a journalist and Claire realizes Assane is alive. Keller orders Claire and Raoul killed, and Mariama escapes. Assane gets his family to safety, sets Keller up for arrest and turns himself in. In prison he gets a photo of his teenage self with a Lupin book, sent by the man in the next cell: Hubert Pellegrini.
