Quick recap
Twenty-five years ago, Babakar Diop, the Senegalese chauffeur of the wealthy Pellegrini family, was jailed for stealing a necklace that once belonged to Marie Antoinette, and he died in prison. His son Assane grew up with the Arsène Lupin book his father gave him. Now an adult, Assane steals that same necklace at a Louvre auction and starts digging: he learns his father was framed, gets himself locked up to question an inmate and breaks out, kidnaps the cop who ran the case and helps a journalist expose Hubert Pellegrini. Hubert's henchman Léonard kills her. At a Lupin festival in Étretat, Assane's son Raoul goes missing. And Guédira, a cop who loves Leblanc, figures out who the thief is.
