Quick recap

In Iacon, miners lack the cog that lets a Cybertronian transform. Orion Pax and his best friend D-16 break the rules, crash Sentinel Prime's race and get sent to the trash incinerator, where they meet the chatty B-127. A message from the Prime Alpha Trion leads the three of them and their supervisor Elita-1 to the surface. There, Alpha Trion reveals that Sentinel killed the Primes, stole the Matrix of Leadership and built the caste system by removing cogs. He gives the group the Primes' cogs, and all four can now transform. Back in Iacon, they expose the betrayal, but an increasingly violent D-16 accidentally shoots Orion and kills Sentinel. The Primes give Orion the Matrix, and he returns as Optimus Prime, defeats his friend and founds the Autobots. D-16 becomes Megatron and forms the Decepticons.
