Transformers: The Last Knight

In 484 AD, the Knights of Iacon give Merlin a staff that helps King Arthur defeat the Saxons. Today, Optimus reaches the ruins of Cybertron, where the sorceress Quintessa turns him into Nemesis Prime and sends him for the staff. Cade Yeager, who shelters Transformer refugees, gets a talisman from a dying robot. Sir Edmund Burton recruits him, along with Oxford professor Viviane Wembly, Merlin's descendant and the only one who can activate the staff. The Decepticons, now allied with Quintessa, steal the staff, and Burton dies trying to stop Megatron at Stonehenge. Cybertron starts draining Earth's energy. Autobots, humans and Knights strike back; Viviane pulls the staff, Optimus beats Megatron, and Bumblebee seemingly finishes off Quintessa. The two worlds stay attached, and the Autobots leave to rebuild Cybertron.

• Mid-credits As the credits begin, a woman walks across a desert to scientists studying one of the giant horns jutting out of the ground. She warns them not to touch it, because “he” wouldn't like it. Who? “Unicron.” It's Quintessa in disguise.
