Quick recap

Geralt believes Yennefer died at Sodden and takes Ciri to Kaer Morhen. On the way, he visits his friend Nivellen, cursed with a beast's face. At the keep, Eskel is infected by a leshen and Geralt has to kill him. Ciri trains with sword and magic, and Vesemir learns she carries Elder Blood. Yennefer, alive but held by elves and stripped of magic, makes a deal with the Deathless Mother, Voleth Meir, to get her powers back. The price is Ciri. Yennefer teaches Ciri to open portals. At Kaer Morhen, Voleth Meir possesses the girl. To save her, Yennefer offers herself as host. Ciri drives the creature out and gets Yennefer back, with her magic restored. In Nilfgaard, Emhyr reveals himself: he's Duny, Ciri's father.
