Quick recap

Cintra has fallen, Calanthe is dead, and everyone wants Ciri: Nilfgaard to marry her, the Northern kings to take her off the board. Geralt hides her at Kaer Morhen, where the witchers train her. Vesemir calls in the sorceress Triss Merigold, who realizes Ciri is a Source who can't control her power. Triss recommends Yennefer. On the road to the temple at Ellander, the group travels with a dwarven caravan that's ambushed by the Scoia'tael. The mage Rience tortures Dandelion (Jaskier) for leads on Ciri; Yennefer saves him and leaves Rience scarred. Geralt chases Rience, but his master opens a portal to pull him out. At the temple, Yennefer starts teaching Ciri, and the two become almost mother and daughter.
