Quick recap

At the gathering of mages on the isle of Thanedd, Dijkstra and Philippa Eilhart set an ambush for the sorcerers working with Nilfgaard. The plan backfires: the traitors fight back, a Scoia'tael commando storms in and it all turns into a massacre. Geralt pulls Yennefer and Ciri out of the fighting. Ciri flees to the Tower of Gulls, where Vilgefortz defeats Geralt. She escapes through an unstable portal and lands in the Korath desert. With a unicorn's help she survives, awakens enormous magic to heal it and is so frightened that she renounces her power. Captured by bounty hunters, she's rescued by the Rats and takes the name Falka. Tissaia takes her own life. Geralt wakes in Brokilon, cared for by the dryads, as Northern kingdoms fall.

  1. ChangeTeryn, the fake Ciri

In the book, the fake Ciri is just a lookalike presented in Nilfgaard, and Geralt has nothing to do with it. In S3, Teryn is given Ciri's memories, believes she is Ciri and crosses paths with Geralt.

  2. ChangeA different host

In the book, the Thanedd banquet is a trap set behind the scenes of the war. On the show, Yennefer organizes the ball before the mages' conclave.
