The Butcher of Anderson Station tells the massacre that marked Fred Johnson, and The Churn covers Amos's youth in Baltimore. Gods of Risk follows Bobbie's nephew David on Mars. The Vital Abyss gives a voice to one of Protogen's scientists. Strange Dogs is set on Laconia, Auberon on a colony under Laconian rule, and the new The Sins of Our Fathers closes the series after Leviathan Falls.
