Quick recap

A famous dad of three, Shrek feels stuck in a rut. Rumpelstiltskin offers him one day as a real ogre in exchange for one day from his childhood, and Shrek signs. The day Rumpel takes is the day Shrek was born: Shrek never existed, Rumpelstiltskin rules Far Far Away, Donkey doesn't know him, Puss is a fat house cat and Fiona leads an ogre resistance. The only way out is true love's kiss before the day ends. Shrek wins Fiona back, the ogres topple Rumpelstiltskin and the kiss lands at the last second. Everything resets to his kids' birthday party, and Shrek finally appreciates the life he has.
