Quick recap

Puss in Boots dies in a fight and learns he's on the last of his nine lives. A bounty-hunting wolf shows up, and fear drives Puss into retirement at a home for cats, where he meets the dog Perrito. Then comes a map to the Wishing Star, fought over by Goldilocks and the Three Bears and the pie maker Jack Horner. Puss teams up with Kitty and Perrito. In the end, he realizes the Wolf is Death, gives up his wish because he now values the life he has, and stands his ground against the Wolf, who leaves for now. Goldilocks picks the bears as her family. Puss, Kitty and Perrito set sail for Far Far Away.
