Quick recap

At a New York club, Clary Fray watches three teens kill a boy who vanishes into thin air. Soon after, her mother, Jocelyn, disappears. Jace Wayland explains that they're Shadowhunters, and Clary learns she's one too: the warlock Magnus Bane wiped her memories at her mother's request. Valentine wants the Mortal Cup that Jocelyn hid. Clary finds the Cup inside a tarot card, but Hodge hands it to Valentine along with Jace. Luke, a werewolf, saves Clary with his pack. Jocelyn turns up in a coma. Valentine claims Jace as his son, which makes them siblings, and escapes through a portal.
