Quick recap

Percy and Annabeth have fallen into Tartarus. Meanwhile Frank, Hazel, Jason, Leo, Piper, Nico and Coach Hedge sail the Mediterranean on the Argo II to find the mortal side of the Doors of Death and close them. The route runs through Bologna, Venice and Split, and each stop brings a monster or a difficult god. Leo ends up on Calypso's island. In the depths of Tartarus, Percy and Annabeth have only each other, and they have to reach the Doors from the underworld side. Both journeys race the clock, because Gaea's army keeps coming back every time a monster dies.
