The Doors of Death are shut, but Gaea keeps waking. The seven split into two groups, and a storm, Nike's deadly games and the hunt for a rare cure slow them down. Reyna, Nico and Coach Hedge carry the Athena Parthenos to Camp Half-Blood to unite Greeks and Romans before it's too late. The final confrontation takes place in Athens, where both camps must fight on the same side, or it all ends. Each of the seven pays a price, and the decision that closes the series weighs more than any sword.
