Quick recap
Luffy lands alone on Amazon Lily, island of the Kuja warriors, where men are forbidden. He's captured and brought to Empress Boa Hancock, one of the Seven Warlords, who turns enemies to stone. Luffy stumbles onto the secret she and her sisters Sandersonia and Marigold keep, as former slaves of the Celestial Dragons, and protects them. Hancock falls for him. Luffy reads in the paper that his brother, Ace, is to be executed at Marineford. Vice Admiral Momonga demands that Hancock join the war as a Warlord. She agrees on one condition: sneaking Luffy into the underwater prison of Impel Down.
