Quick recap

In 1940, escaping the bombs on London, Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy move to Professor Kirke's country house. Lucy steps into a wardrobe and comes out in Narnia, locked in a hundred-year winter by the White Witch. Edmund follows, sells out his siblings for Turkish delight and ends up her hostage. The Beavers lead the other three to Aslan, the great lion, who has returned. To save Edmund, Aslan gives himself up to the Witch and dies on the Stone Table. The next morning he rises, frees the statues in her castle and reaches the battle in time. The Witch dies, and the four are crowned at Cair Paravel. Years later, grown up, they stumble back through the wardrobe and return as children, the same moment they left.
