A lamppost in the snow

During a game of hide-and-seek at Professor Kirke's house, Lucy steps into a wardrobe and comes out in a snowy wood by a lamppost. There she meets Mr. Tumnus the faun, who takes her home for tea. He admits he was supposed to hand her over to the White Witch, but lets her go. No one at home believes her, and Edmund, who was there too, lies that he saw nothing.

Queen Lucy the Valiant

When all four go back together, Tumnus has been arrested. Father Christmas gives Lucy a bottle of cordial that heals any wound. She watches Aslan die on the Stone Table and is the first to see him alive again. After the battle, she uses the cordial on Edmund and the wounded. She's crowned Queen Lucy the Valiant at Cair Paravel, until the day she stumbles back through the wardrobe. She and her siblings rule for years and only find their way home while riding after the White Stag, who grants wishes.

No one believes her, again

Back in Narnia 1,300 years later, Lucy sees Aslan on a hillside. Her siblings don't believe her, and the group takes the wrong path. She finds him again alone in the woods and realizes she has to follow the lion even if the others won't. She's the one who goes to get him and comes back with him to wake the trees. In the final battle, she stands alone on the bridge, holding a dagger, facing the whole Telmarine army, until Aslan appears beside her.

The magician's book

On the Dawn Treader's voyage, Lucy is the only one who doesn't fight with Eustace. On one island, she goes alone into the magician Coriakin's house to find a spell that will make the island's invisible residents visible. In the same book, she reads a spell in a magician's book to be beautiful like Susan. She sees herself living her sister's life, in a world where she herself never existed, and Aslan reminds her who she is. At the world's end, he tells her that she and Edmund won't come back to Narnia.
