Quick recap

Terry McCaleb is running a fishing charter on Catalina when deputy Jaye Winston asks for help with a ritualistic murder: the victim is Edward Gunn, a man Bosch failed to put away years earlier. McCaleb's profile points to Bosch himself. Meanwhile, Bosch is a key witness at the trial of director David Storey, accused of killing an actress, a case reporter Jack McEvoy is covering. McCaleb finds that Storey framed Bosch to wreck his testimony. Together, they draw out the real killer, Rudy Tafero. Storey ends up pleading guilty. But McCaleb realizes Bosch knew more than he admitted about Gunn's death and cuts ties with him.
