Full story
Eyes of Wakanda follows the Hatut Zeraze, Wakanda's secret agents. Across the centuries, they travel the world to recover vibranium artifacts that slipped out of the kingdom, always guarding the secret that Wakanda exists. There are four episodes, each set in a different era, and together they question the cost of Wakandan isolation.
The first is set in Crete in 1260 BC. Noni, a disgraced Dora Milaje warrior, is sent to capture Nkati, a rogue agent who calls himself the Lion and is using stolen Wakandan tech to build his own kingdom. Noni infiltrates his base, beats the Lion in combat, and escapes when he triggers the self-destruct. In the end, she turns down a return to the Dora Milaje and joins the Hatut Zeraze.
The second episode goes to the Trojan War, around 1200 BC. Agent B'Kai is undercover in the Greek army as the warrior Memnon, fighting alongside Achilles. During the Trojan Horse operation, he recovers a vibranium necklace from Helen and lets Paris and Helen escape. Achilles catches the betrayal and the two face off. To keep Wakanda's secret, Memnon deals Achilles a fatal wound.
The third heads to Ming dynasty China, around 1400. Agent Basha has to steal vibranium hidden in a dragon statue in K'un-Lun. There he meets Jorani again, the Iron Fist, who once saved his life. She feels betrayed but ends up using her mystic power to pull the metal out of the statue. Basha takes the vibranium, and Jorani herself, back to Wakanda, then secretly returns her home.
The last one is set in 1896 at the Battle of Adwa in Ethiopia. Prince Tafari and his mentor Kuda set out to recover a vibranium axe. A Black Panther from the future attacks them and shows them visions of what will happen if Wakanda stays hidden: burning cities and a ruined planet. Tafari chooses to give up the axe and leave it behind. The artifact ends up in the British Museum, tying the series to the museum scene in Black Panther, and the final message is that sometimes letting go beats hiding.
