Quick recap

In 1988, little Georgie goes out to play with a paper boat and vanishes down a storm drain. The following summer, his brother Bill gathers a group of outcasts, the Losers, and together they learn that Derry, Maine, is haunted by a creature that wakes every 27 years and becomes each child's worst fear. This version moves the story to the 80s, stays with the kids alone and makes their friendship the weapon against Pennywise. Directed by Andy Muschietti with Bill Skarsgård as the clown, it became a box-office phenomenon.
