Quick recap

In 1962, a family moves to Derry, Maine, just as a boy goes missing. The town's air base keeps secrets, the police are corrupt and racism runs through the streets. A group of teenagers, including Lilly, Ronnie, Marge and Will Hanlon, realizes that something ancient wakes every 27 years and feeds on fear. The series, a prequel to Muschietti's two films, shows where Pennywise comes from and how Derry became what it is. Bill Skarsgård returns to the role, and HBO aired the series in eight episodes.
