Quick recap

Mavis and Johnny are married with Dracula's blessing, and their son Dennis is about to turn five without having shown his fangs. Dracula fears his grandson isn't a vampire. Mavis considers moving to California, where Dennis could have a more normal life. While the parents are away, Grandpa and his friends try everything to spark the boy's powers, and it gets out of hand. The arrival of Dracula's father, old Vlad, who hates humans and sneers at a half-human great-grandson, complicates everything. In the end the whole family has to decide where Dennis truly belongs.
