Quick recap

Mrs. Coulter keeps a drugged Lyra hidden away. Guided by the angels Balthamos and Baruch, Will rescues her, but the knife breaks and Iorek mends it. Lyra decides to go to the Land of the Dead for Roger and has to leave Pan on the shore to enter. There, she and Will cut a window that sets the dead free. Lord Asriel takes on the Authority, and he and Mrs. Coulter fall into the abyss dragging the angel Metatron with them. Lyra and Will fall in love, and Dust returns. But the windows leak Dust, so each must live in their own world. Will closes the last window and breaks the knife. Every Midsummer, both sit on the same bench in Oxford's Botanic Garden, each in their own world.
