Halloween II

The same night in 1978 keeps going. A wounded Laurie is taken to Haddonfield's hospital, and Michael follows, killing anyone in his path. Loomis searches the town and learns something that changes everything: Laurie is Michael's sister, which is why he hunts her. She was adopted and never knew. In the nearly empty hospital, Laurie is chased through the halls. The ending brings all three into an operating room, and Loomis makes a sacrifice to try to end the story. The film closes with the night still dark.

1. Behind the scenesCarpenter came back to reshoot

   John Carpenter and Debra Hill wrote the script, but Rick Rosenthal directs. Carpenter shot extra scenes to make the film bloodier.
