Quick recap

Ten years after the night in Haddonfield, Michael lies in a coma. When he hears he has a living niece, little Jamie Lloyd, he wakes and escapes. A scarred Dr. Loomis runs after him, and the local sheriff tries to protect the girl. Jamie lives with her foster family and foster sister Rachel. On Halloween night, Michael cuts the town's power and closes in on the house. The whole town turns into a hunt. The ending shows evil can pass from hand to hand, with an image nobody forgets.
