Quick recap

Amy Kramer wants a new dummy for her family's weekly talent show, and her dad brings home Slappy, found at a pawn shop. In the dummy's pocket is a slip of paper with strange words. Amy reads them aloud, and Slappy slowly comes to life. He wreaks havoc around the house and lets Amy take the blame, and nobody believes her. Slappy wants her as his slave. In the end, Amy and her sister take on the dummy together, and he's finished off by Dennis, Amy's old dummy.
