Quick recap

After winning the race, Dusty's career is in danger: his engine's gearbox is damaged and no replacement exists. A bad landing at Propwash Junction starts a fire, and the airport is shut until the town gets better fire protection. To help, Dusty heads to Piston Peak, a national park, and becomes an air tanker on helicopter Blade Ranger's team. He hides the engine problem and only tells Blade later. In a wildfire, Blade shields him inside a mine. In the end, Maru finds a new gearbox, and Dusty is certified as a firefighter.
