Quick recap

The Whisperers move through the herd wearing walker skin. Alpha comes to the Hilltop for her daughter, Lydia, who was held there, and Maggie hands her over to avoid a war. Carl goes after Lydia on his own and ends up captive in the enemy camp. Rick goes in person to negotiate, sees how big Alpha's herd is and comes back with Carl. The two sides agree on a border. Meanwhile, Negan, still in his cell, works to win over anyone who passes by. At the Kingdom's fair, Alpha slips in. The volume ends with the heads of twelve residents, Ezekiel among them, on pikes marking the edge of her territory.
