Quick recap

Back from their honeymoon, Shrek and Fiona are summoned to Far Far Away by her parents, King Harold and Queen Lillian. The king can't stand his son-in-law and is tied to a deal with the Fairy Godmother, who wanted Fiona married to her son, Prince Charming. Harold hires Puss in Boots to kill Shrek, but Puss switches sides. Shrek drinks a potion that makes him human, and Donkey becomes a white stallion. Charming poses as Shrek. With a giant gingerbread man, the friends storm the castle, the Fairy Godmother is destroyed and Harold turns back into a frog. Shrek and Fiona choose to stay ogres.
