Quick recap

1814, peacetime. Sharpe returns to England and is sent north to Yorkshire to command a local militia. The region is torn between mill owners and workers, and Sharpe is caught in the middle, ordered to keep order on one side and sympathetic to the workers on the other. His own past turns up there too, and Sharpe has to face Jane, who spent his money and is with Rossendale. It's an original TV story, the bridge between Revenge and Waterloo.
