City of Lost Souls

Jace vanishes with Sebastian, and the two are bound by a rune: hurt one and you hurt the other. Clary agrees to go with them as a spy, using a faerie ring to talk to Simon. She learns Sebastian wants to build an army of evil Shadowhunters with Lilith's blood and a second Cup. Simon summons Raziel, gets the sword Glorious and loses the Mark of Cain. At the Seventh Sacred Site, Clary drives Glorious into Jace. He catches fire but survives, with heavenly fire now inside him. Sebastian escapes, and most of his army dies. Magnus breaks up with Alec, who considered Camille's offer to take away Magnus's immortality.
