Quick recap

Cindy, now a widow, looks after an elderly woman in a haunted house in a small town. Her neighbor, Tom Ryan, is raising his children alone, and the two grow close. Then a giant machine appears and starts attacking the town. Between scenes in an isolated village, a house with ghosts and a deadly game, Cindy tries to save the world. The film spoofs War of the Worlds, The Grudge, The Village and Saw. David Zucker stays on as director, and Leslie Nielsen plays the U.S. president, as in the third film.
