Quick recap

Two years later, Ruby moves to Hoenn and runs away from home to chase his Pokémon Contest dream, against the wishes of his father, Gym Leader Norman. He meets Sapphire, a girl raised in the wild who wants to be a battle Trainer, and they make a bet: in 80 days, he'll win every Contest and she'll beat all eight Gyms. As they race the clock, Team Magma and Team Aqua fight over the region and end up together in the Seafloor Cavern. Kyogre and Groudon awaken and start tearing Hoenn apart. Norman and Wally awaken Rayquaza, Ruby and Sapphire stop Maxie and Archie, and in the end both win their halves of the bet. In the final pages, Giovanni finds the Red and Blue Orbs.
