Quick recap

A year later, Gold, a boy from New Bark Town, has his backpack stolen and ends up on the trail of Silver, who took a Totodile from Professor Elm's lab. The two uncover the plans of the Masked Man, who has rebuilt what's left of Team Rocket. Crystal, hired by Oak, joins the story. An earthquake wrecks Ecruteak and frees the legendary beasts. At a Kanto–Johto Gym Leader tournament, the Masked Man strikes with Ho-Oh and Lugia. All seven Pokédex holders unite, Silver learns the man kidnapped him as a child, and the villain, Pryce, wants Celebi to travel back in time. Gold follows him through time, beats him and frees Celebi, and Pryce is left lost in the flow of time.
